Areas of practice

Andrew’s specialises in civil litigation including personal injury, contract, commercial and construction claims, negligence and other tort actions and insurance cases. He is heavily involved in tribunal work, representing clients in Employment Tribunals and disciplinary cases. He advises and represents clients in landlord and tenant cases and property disputes.

He acts for both claimants and defendants in personal injury cases, including road and workplace accidents and industrial disease claims. He has lectured and given seminars on civil procedure and personal injury law. He has a special interest in contractual disputes between companies and is one of a growing number of barristers who is qualified to act and advise under the Bar’s public access scheme. Together with Chris Bryden he is an accredited trainer for barristers wishing to undertake public access work and they are one of only three training providers in the country approved by the Bar Standards Board to do this.

He sits as a Legal Assessor for the NMC (Nursing and Midwifery Council).
