We are running for a charity called Launchpad Reading, which provides supported housing to disadvantaged and vulnerable people in Reading. We appreciate that you may get many requests to dig deep but we’d be delighted if you’d support us and our chosen charity.

Patrick McMorrow

Patrick has an established civil litigation-based practice. Prior to being called to the Bar in 1996, he spent 20 years in the construction industry, including running his own building company.
Construction and Property
Patrick advises and represents parties in disputes concerning defective workmanship, contract price, penalty clauses and professional negligence (including architects, surveyors and structural engineers). He undertakes commercial and residential landlord and tenant work, boundary and neighbour disputes, easements and right of way, and appears before the Leasehold Valuation Tribunal (LVT).
Commercial
Patrick’s work is both advisory and court-based, dealing with contractual disputes, debt recovery, consumer credit agreements and insurance.
Personal Injury
He represents claimants and defendants in Fast-Track and Multi-Track cases involving road traffic, employers and occupiers liability, Highways Act matters and package holiday claims. He regularly advises on liability and quantum and settles pleadings. Patrick has also represented a number of claimants in actions arising out of clinical negligence.
