We are running for a charity called Launchpad Reading, which provides supported housing to disadvantaged and vulnerable people in Reading. We appreciate that you may get many requests to dig deep but we’d be delighted if you’d support us and our chosen charity.

Peter’s practice encompasses a broad range of civil, family and public law work.
He has extensive experience in fast-track and multi-track personal injury cases, acting for both claimants and defendants in matters ranging from employers’ liability and road traffic. He regularly drafts pleadings and advises on points of law, procedure, liability and quantum.
He also has experience in employment tribunals including unfair and wrongful dismissal, discrimination, redundancy and unlawful deductions.
In property, Peter represents landlords (including social landlords) and tenants in housing and landlord & tenant cases. He has been instructed on land law cases, trust cases, TOLATA, and claims made under the Inheritance (Provision For Family & Dependants) Act 1975.
Peter’s family practice focuses primarily on private and public law Children Act matters for applicants and respondents and in divorce and matrimonial finance.
Peter has extensive experience in immigration law and has represented the Home Secretary. He regularly appears on behalf of appellants in a wide range of cases in front of Adjudicators and Immigration Judges, the High Court (including Judicial Review Proceedings) and proceedings in front of the Court of Appeal.
He is formerly the Assistant Editor of Medical Law Reports (1993), Banking Law Reports (1993) and Reinsurance Law Reports (1993). Also he is formerly Assistant Editor of Family Court Reporter (1994-1999).
In May 2008 Peter became the Independent lay Chairman of the Standards Committee of Dartford Borough Council, having previously been an Independent lay Member of the Committee since 2006. Peter has extensive knowledge and experience of the Code of Conduct which is applicable to elected and non elected members of Borough and County Councils as well as Unitary Authorities.
