Formerly a Deputy Chief Clerk in the Inner London Magistrates’ Court Service and a Senior Crown Prosecutor, after returning to private practice in 1990, he has regularly appeared in the Crown and County Courts as well as in the High Court and Employment Tribunals.

Family

Peter has appeared for Local Authorities, Respondent Mother’s and Father’s and Children in public law cases. He also has extensive experience of private law contact and residence cases. Peter has advised in and represented parties in a number of cases involving matrimonial finance as well as TOLATA claims and Probate cases. He also considers taking direct access cases.

Employment

Peter represents both Applicants and Respondents. He has been involved in numerous cases of discrimination as well as unfair dismissals and ancillary claims. Peter has also represented Claimants in both the County Court and the Employment Tribunal in linked dismissal and Personal Injury cases, including harassment and breach of Health and Safety Regulations. He also considers taking direct access cases

Personal Injury

Peter’s experience includes acting for Defendant’s as well as Claimant’s in a wide range of cases involving workplace injury as well as road traffic accidents, often where there are substantial damages in issue, as well as injuries on the highway. He is willing to consider CFA’s and direct access cases.
