Anne-Marie is a specialist criminal practitioner, instructed by both Prosecution (CPS Grade 2) and Defence.  She has experience of dealing with cases involving:

  • Violence including s18 GBH
  • Domestic Abuse including assaults and controlling and coercive behaviour
  • Drug offences including supply of Class A drugs
  • Theft offences including violent robberies and dwelling burglaries
  • Road traffic offences including those involving death
  • Sexual offences
  • Knife crime
  • Offences against property including arson

 

After several years gaining experience at the Criminal Bar, Anne-Marie spent ten years teaching the BPTC at the University of Law where she was also responsible for some of the course design.  Since returning to the bar full time in 2017 she continues to teach advocacy to pupils at Middle Temple.  She has also engaged in some law teaching overseas; in Kabul and in Nairobi.
