Daniella Adeluwoye secures acquittal in sexual assault trial

Daniella Adeluwoye secured an acquittal at Reading Magistrates’ Court, where her client was charged with sexual assault.
The defendant was a man of good character charged with sexually assaulting a much younger colleague in their workplace. The trial was particularly challenging because the evidence disclosed an apparent confession by the defendant, which was later retracted, as well as an alleged history of similar conduct and ongoing harassment after the offence.
Nevertheless, Daniella persuaded the court that whatever might have taken place between the parties the alleged offence had not been made out and the Court found Daniella’s client not guilty.
Daniella was instructed by Max Riley-Gould at Reeds Solicitors.
