Rhian Wood secures unanimous acquittal in non-fatal strangulation trial at Aylesbury Crown Court

Rhian Wood, instructed by Rob Slinn of Walker Law represented a young man in his 20s accused of strangling his father, assaulting him and threatening him with a kitchen knife. As a result of the allegations the Defendant had been remanded in custody since January 2024. The Defendant denied all three charges saying that his father had fabricated the allegations because he wanted him out of the family home. Following a three day trial, the Jury returned unanimous not guilty verdicts on all counts after just 1 hour 13 minutes deliberation.
