Success for Kirsty Day with defendant acquitted of all charges

Success for Kirsty Day, instructed by Patterson Law, in a two-week case concerning allegations of causing serious injury by dangerous driving, stalking, and breaching a non-molestation order.

It was agreed that the Defendant had, following an argument, driven a car with her ex-partner on the bonnet before stopping and in the process breaking both of the Complainant’s legs and dislocating both of his knee caps.

The defence rested on the contention that the Defendant had been the victim of controlling and coercive behaviour by the Complainant during the entirety of their seven-year relationship.

The Defendant was acquitted of all charges.
