Tori Adams, instructed by Kesar & Co, successfully represented a Claimant in his claim against the Ministry of Justice for discrimination arising from his disability and a failure to make reasonable adjustments whilst he was in prison. The Claimant in this case was unable to access enhanced privileges whilst in prison as a result of his disability and it was found that the prison failed in their duties to him. The Claimant was awarded £3,800 in damages as a result and Declarations were made as to a breach of Articles 15 and 20 of the Equality Act 2010.
