Background:
Having completed pupillage at the Crown Prosecution Service (‘CPS’), Jack joins Chambers to continue developing his criminal practice and include defence work and diversify his practice into other areas of law.
Crime
Throughout his 12-month pupillage with the CPS he has gained invaluable experience in a range of Magistrates’ and Crown Court work. Examples broadly.
Jack also completed many pieces of written advocacy such as providing pre-charge advice, advising reviewing lawyers on charging decisions, and advice on sentencing options available to the Court on youth matters.
Jack continues to build a practice within criminal law and accepts instructions on criminal defence and prosecution.
Regulatory
Prior to pupillage, Jack worked as a Hearings Coordinator at the Nursing and Midwifery Council. His role would involve facilitating hearings and drafting the panel’s determinations.
