Richard Moss

Richard instructed by Kelsey Thompson of Andrew Storch Solicitors secured the acquittal of a 23 year old defendant accused of digitally penetrating the vagina of a sleeping complainant at Reading Crown Court. The defendant accepted getting into bed with the complainant after a night out but denied any sexual contact with her. He asserted that the reason for her DNA being found under his fingernails was from consensual non-sexual contact. This assertion was supported by a forensic report obtained by the defence, which resulted in a joint expert forensic report concluding that the forensic findings in the case were neutral. After a 4 day trial and only 58 minutes of deliberations the jury acquitted the defendant.
