Julia Amson, Solicitor – Family Law Group

“I have worked with Phil on a number of matters and have been extremely pleased with the excellent service he has provided our vulnerable clients. Phil is compassionate but robust, clients have found him friendly and felt that he represented them well. Phil has worked on a number of complex matters for me especially one that involved a high risk client wherein we had both senior and junior counsel.”

Genet Amare, Director – Duncan Lewis

“Phil Anderson is an outstanding advocate whose attention to detail is excellent. Phil is a fierce opponent who fights hard for those he represents. He is also compassionate, kind and patient with an ability to put clients at ease at a time when they are often at their most vulnerable.”

Anna Gowen, Partner – Hanne & Co

“Here at Alun Jones Family Law, we regularly instruct Counsel, Mr Phil Anderson. Mr Anderson exercises careful due diligence, and he presents in a calm and clear manner with the client. In a case of mine recently, Mr Anderson was able to control the conference prior to court, but also push our opposition’s counsel into considering other suggestions for child contact. As a result of Phil focusing our client (who was understandably emotional at the time), Mr Anderson secured an increasing schedule of contact. The client is sincerely grateful to Mr Anderson, and has reported back to us that both he and his son are enjoying a much greater quality of contact.

On another of our cases, whereby Ms Newberry instructed Mr Anderson, Mr Anderson assisted in a fact-find hearing, successfully securing findings of significant coercive control and stalking, against our opponent. The client was so impressed by Mr Anderson’s advocacy and approach, the client has requested to reserve Mr Anderson moving forward.

Alun Jones Family Law

“I have instructed Phil many times in relation to financial and private law children proceedings. I have always found Phil to be approachable, to provide invaluable advice and guidance and he is thorough with his preparation. Phil goes beyond the call of duty, which included answering many email queries from a client over the weekend ahead of a 3-day arbitration hearing.”
